Metallised paper and board — a metallic surface with the converting behaviour of paper.

Metallised paper gives the shelf appearance of foil laminate while remaining a paper-based structure, which is what makes it recyclable in paper streams where a foil laminate is not.
It is used where the pack has to look premium and still run on standard carton and label lines. Substrate, metallising and finish are set against the application.
