About ViRi

China's paper market, both ways.

Specialty grades, printed matter and finished paper products from Chinese mills to buyers in fifty-five countries — and overseas paper into China. Trading from Shanghai since 2013.

What we do

Paper, specified properly.

We supply a comprehensive range of paper across seven series and sixty grades — food-grade, industrial, publishing, tobacco, medical, packaging board and hygiene. Every grade is agreed to specification before the mill runs: grammage, brightness, coating, food-contact compliance.

In response to the global move away from plastic, we have built a range of value-driven paper alternatives held to the same quality standard — and we run our own converting plant in Malaysia.

Why it holds together

Mill knowledge, not brokerage.

Both of our managing directors have worked in paper since 1995 — mill management and the papermaking process, through trading, and on to the converting lines we run ourselves today. That span is the difference between forwarding your enquiry and telling you which grade will actually run on your machine.

Mission
Put mill-floor judgement behind every order, so our customers get the grade that runs, not the grade that sells.
Vision
To be the first call for specialty paper moving in either direction across China's border.
