Medical packaging paper, 35 to 70 g/m², specified to ISO methods throughout and made without optical brighteners.

Medical packaging paper is the porous face of a sterile barrier: it has to let sterilant in and then keep microorganisms out, while peeling open cleanly without shedding fibre into the field.
The two faces are specified separately — smoothness at 500 seconds or less on the coated side against 100 or less on the reverse — because one face bonds to film and the other does not. Cobb is held at 25 g/m² or below on both.
No optical brightening agents, tested to GB 31604.47. Testing runs to ISO throughout: ISO 536 for grammage, ISO 534 for thickness, ISO 1924 for tensile, ISO 1974 for tear and ISO 11475 for D65 brightness.
Typical applications — Sterile barrier pouches and reels, medical device packaging, peel-open packs

Figures are typical values from mill technical data, not a guaranteed specification. We agree the binding specification with you before the mill runs.
It depends on the mill and the run. Send the specification, the quantity and the discharge port, and it is confirmed with the quotation.
Reels or sheets — slit to your line width.
Full technical data sheet and batch test report on request.
Send the basis weight, the reel width and the monthly volume. You get a quotation from someone who knows the mill, usually within one working day.
