In an aluminium electrolytic capacitor the paper is not packaging; it is a working component. It separates the anode and cathode foils while absorbing and holding the electrolyte, so density, purity and thickness uniformity all feed directly into the finished capacitor's electrical performance.
Grades are selected against the capacitor's voltage rating and case size. Specification sheets covering the full range are available on request.
