Lightweight bible paper from 28 g/m², built to stay opaque and turn cleanly at weights where ordinary paper would not.
Bible paper solves one problem: fit a very large number of pages into a book someone can still hold. Everything else follows from that. At 28 to 45 g/m² the sheet has to stay opaque enough that the reverse side does not read through, keep enough strength to survive repeated page turning, and fold without cracking at the spine.
Opacity, tear strength and folding endurance are the parameters that get agreed before the run. Full technical data and a batch test report are issued with each shipment.
